Mario Rezendez voted Bell Ringer of the Day by Salvation Army.

Mario Rezendez, custodial services, was nominated as the Bell Ringer of the day December 10 by the Salvation Army and radio partner KOOL 108. His name was announced on KOOL 108’s morning show.

Every day after he leaves his shift at Northwestern, Mario spends two hours ringing the bell manning a red kettle at the Cub Foods in West St. Paul from 4-6 p.m. He also rings on Saturdays.

“I’ve used Salvation Army services before,” said Mario. “They were a tremendous help, and this is my way of giving back.”
