Northwestern in the news

Two local news stories mention Northwestern this week.

A Minnesota Public Radio health news story on chronic pain in Minnesota veterans aired May 20. The online story featured a photo of Dr. Zach Zachman with a patient in the University Health Services clinic. The patient invited MPR to accompany him to his clinic appointment at UHS, where he was receiving treatment through our Warrior to Citizen program. Read the online story here.

On Sunday, May 19, a Northwestern College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine graduate was a guest on WCCO radio’s Healthy Matters program. Jessica Brown, LAc (’09), now practices at the Hennepin County Medical Center Alternative Medicine clinics. She talked about acupuncture, and did an excellent job of representing the profession.  Hear the entire Healthy Matters podcast here.
